Winter Hiking Trail Torrent

Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - Take the bus from Leuk railway station to the valley station at Flaschen restaurant and take the cable car up to the Rinderhütte. From there the new panorama winter trail leads you to Torrent alp.

Take the bus from Leuk railway station to the valley station at Flaschen restaurant and take the cable car up to the Rinderhütte (this can also be reached with the cable car from Leukerbad). From there the new panorama winter trail leads you through the snowy landscape with a wonderful view of the Rhone Valley and the Alps. On the way you can observe chamoises again and again and with luck even ptarmigans and snow finches. The trail goes along the forestry road and is prepared with a machine.
It is worthwhile not to go directly to Torrent alp, but instead make a detour to Schnydi. The view to the numerous four-thousand-metre peaks is worth the trouble in any case. At the finish you cross through a small group of alpine huts on Torrent alp. At the Torrent alp you finally get back to the ski area. From here you return to the valley with the cable car.
