The return journey goes back the same way to Salouf. In the village you go past the Alpina inn on the right in the direction of Cunter. Riom castle

The Rätia Ampla castle in Riom is the largest in the district of Surses. After the fire in the village in 1864 the wood of the fort was used for reconstruction. The former bishop's castle, built in 1227, can be viewed from the outside.

Salouf

The village of Salouf is characterised by the partly tower-like Walser houses built in the 13th century, but also the dimensions and the style of some houses built in the 17th and 18th century are also impressive.

Ela hotel

In the Ela hotel the emphasis is placed on using foodstuffs from the region. Thus regional products such as wood-oven baked bread from Salouf, alpine butter and cheese, Salouf honey or Salouf Salsiz sausage find their way into the hotel cuisine.

Stierva
