The trail takes you from Grengiols via the village street past the impressive church to the hamlet of Bächerhäusern.
The church of Grengiols is unique in its construction in that it is not aligned from east to west like all other churches but from south to north. The layout of the graveyard is also unique. The graves in the graveyard are ordered according to marital status. Those who were married are buried in the lower graveyard and those who were single in the upper graveyard.
From the hamlet of Bächerhäusern, the trail leads along the sledging run to the Alpine foothill of Seng. Shortly afterwards, you follow the signpost towards Schärtegga. You walk along the road, Breithornstrasse, as far as "Dirr Egga" and from there back to Bächerhäusern and then return to the village of Grengiols.
The botanist Eduard Thommen described them as an independent species. "Tulipa grengiolensis" has been considered since then as a unique species of tulip that only grows in Switzerland. It flowers only in the village of Grengiols and its surroundings.

Die Konsumgenossenschaft Grengiols wurde am 21. August 1910 gegründet. Sie zählt heute 102 Mitglieder und beschäftigt 2 Teilzeitangestellte sowie einige Studenten.
