STEP 1 : LE SENTIER - ST-CERGUE
Through wooded and alpine pastures of the Jura Vaudois, this first leg of the route enables you to discover one of the Parc Jura Vaudois’ secret and fragile gems : Combe des Amburnex. With its dry stone walls and
marshes rich in rare and protected species such as the bright yellow flower, Saxifraga hirculus, it is a true wonder to behold !
STEP 2 : ST-CERGUE - ROMAINMOTIER
While riding through the villages at the foot of the Jura, you will encounter breathtaking views of the Alps and Lake Geneva. Many significant places are found along this route ; the highlights being the historical and famous Cluniac sites.
STEP 3 : ROMAINMOTIER - LE SENTIER
This last leg of the route offers fabulous panoramic views over the nearby lakes. Seen from the village of Premier the views of Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel as well as the stunning drop down to the Lake of Joux from the village of Petra Félix, will provide manifold rewards for all your efforts !

The church of the Mitcha-Bou, as the inhabitants of Mollens are also called, joined the Federation of Cluniac Sites in the XII century. Mollens and its church belong to the inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites.
The peat bog named “Sagne” in Le Sentier is of national importance. Here you find typical plants of peat bogs, that prefer acid soils. The bog, where they used to cut peat until 1940, is a conservation area today.

The Germain family's Alpine chalet and show dairy is located not far from the Col de Marchairuz at an altitude of 1345 metres. In the chalet, recently converted into a show dairy, you can taste different regional products.
In Marchissy, the Bassin family warmly welcomes all visitors to their renovated farmhouse. The view over Lake Geneva and the Alps is breathtaking, from La Côte to the Geneva jet d'eau.
