Naturpark Diemtigtal - We spoil you at Gasthof Rothbad with crisp, fresh seasonal specialities from the region. The herb garden is right behind the house and the meat comes fresh from the butcher.
The restaurant of the Andreas and Doris Messerli-Minnig family is situated at 1050 m above sea level with a view as far as the Stockhorn, close to the Springenboden ski lift and the hiking area. The Rothbad is also popular as a starting point for ski tourers.
The Rothbad inn offers home-style cooking with seasonal specialities and changing dessert creations. The herb garden is right behind the house and the meat comes fresh from the butcher.
For large and small occasions, weddings, family celebrations and birthdays, we are happy to put together an individual menu. The small room seats 35 people, the large room up to 70 people.
The Rothbad inn has three simple, rustic double rooms, three single rooms and five dormitories with eight beds each.

Swiss Wrestling (“Schwingen”) is part of the deeply rooted heritage of Diemtigtal Valley and is extremely popular. The adventure path “Wrestling & Tradition” was opened in June 2013, in the Springenboden-Diemtigtal Valley area.
Signposted snow-shoe trail (circular hiking trail) on the sun terrace of the Diemtigtal Nature Park .

Medium e-bike circular tour. Diemigten village with church, village centre and site of national importance. Takes you through idyllic scattered settlements and villages of Diemtigtal (Wakker prize 1986) as far as the end of the valley at Grimmialp.
