Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - Experience interactively the world of timber and forestry handicraft.
Discover the diversity of sawmills and mills through the traces of history.
Immerse yourself in an old Valais handicraft with tradition.

In former times in Oberems, timber was processed directly on location in the sawmill. However, the sawmill has not been regularly used any more for several years. The renovation work of the “Miis Dorf (my village)” has saved the sawmill and mill from falling into disrepair. Since 2018, work has been carried out together with the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park towards a new utilisation concept and completion of the facilities.
Now it is open for you - in an interactive and narrative way, you can learn more about timber and forestry handicraft and immerse yourself in the history of our ancestors.
