This hotel built in 1871, has been run by the Mollien family since 1888. It is located in L'Etivaz, a hamlet of 200 inhabitants halfway between Château-d'Oex and the Col des Mosses.
The hotel has 6 rooms with bathroom and 8 traditional rooms without WC/shower.
For seminars, there is a room with 50 seats.
On the Via Alpina route? Le Chamois is on the route of stages 17 and 18.

This stage of the trail runs along the foot of the Gummfluh and its imposing rocky slopes, through La Pierreuse nature reserve and into the L’Etivaz valley. The trail offers panoramic views that stretch from the Pays-d’Enhaut and the Vaud Alps.
