Naturpark Diemtigtal - Signposted snow-shoe trail (circular hiking trail) on the sun terrace of the Diemtigtal Nature Park .
The starting point of this snow-shoe trail (circular hiking trail, 5 km) is the parking place Gsässweid-Springenboden. The trail is signposted, the traces are made by yourself. After an unhurried ascent to the Alp Ottenschwand, there are wonderful panoramic views over the Diemtigtal and the Simmental. From the highest point at 1640 m, the descent passes snow-cowered alpine cabins, sunny alps and leads you to the forest "Ahorni". With the help of your fantasy, the fir trees look like enormous snow-sculptures. After the hike you warm up in one of the restaurants at the starting point.
