Hiking Anger (Zwischenflüh)-Turne-Diemtigen

Hiking trail
Time required: 5 hours 35 minutesLength: 15.20 km

Naturpark Diemtigtal - You start at the Viehschauplatz Anger and gain almost 1000 meters in altitude that day. The ascent to Turne is definitely worth it, as the panoramic view is unique.

The postbus takes you conveniently from Oey-Diemtigen to the starting point, the Viehschauplatz Anger in Zwischenflüh. From here, the hiking trail leads up towards Seebergsee, where you walk a section along the mountain road towards Meniggrund. Shortly after, you take the well-developed hiking trail again, ascending up to Tärfete, where you rapidly gain altitude. The view is already great here, but the highlight, Turne, is still to come. The panoramic view from Turne is simply unique, and a nice lunch from your backpack is just right now.

Once you have enjoyed the view, start the descent over Pfaffe to Rinderalp. Here you can refresh yourself with a nice coffee and local products. Continue descending via Alp Tschuggen – where you can also taste and buy alpine products – down to the village of Diemtigen at the postbus stop. Optionally, you can also hike the last section to Oey-Diemtigen station, which requires an additional approximately 30 minutes.
