Mountain Drive: Large wheelchair route around Grimmialp

You leave Camping Eggmatte on the access road and turn right at the end, following the signposts to Grimmimutz past the valley station of the Grimmialp cable car. Shortly before the start of the children's adventure path Grimmimutz, a paved road branches off to the right. Follow it for a few meters until a path branches off to the left at the stream. It leads you up to Blauseeli: a worthwhile detour! Drive back the same way to the start of the Grimmimutz path. Here you do not follow the adventure path but continue on the paved lane until you reach Steingrube. Here turn sharply right and follow the Switzerland Mobility mountain bike route always along the natural road, slightly uphill through the wonderfully cool forest. We recommend taking the left lane for the ascent, as it is easier to ride. The descent may require some courage but is no problem with the Mountain Drive wheelchair. At the next junctions, continue to follow the Switzerland Mobility mountain bike route to the bridge over the Trüebbach. Here a scenic extra loop straight ahead towards Schlunegg is worthwhile. The road leads back to the stream and continues along the stream into the valley until Geissboden, where you cross the bridge back onto the main road. Turn right onto the road and follow it back up to Camping Eggmatte. Please drive here right at the edge so that you are seen by traffic.
