Fete de la Nature: Fascinating waters in the Pfyn Forest
Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - From Sierre to Leuk along the waters
The large crossing of the Pfyn forest makes biodiversity tangible. The wild Rotten, the ponds, the Rottensand Suone and the Büttenbach are an important part of the compensation measures for the future A9 motorway.
Organised in collaboration with the municipality of Sierre.
Equipment: Clothing suitable for the weather conditions, good shoes, picnic and drinks.

Arrival by public transport
Sierre, Parc de Finges Timetable SBBDate-details
Meeting point: 8:52 a.m. at the bus stop «Sierre, Parc de Finges». Start of the excursion at 09.00 a.m.End of the excursion at about 15:00 p.m. at Leuk railway station.
Return journey by public transport from railway station Leuk to the bus stop Sierre, Parc de Finges (15:47 p.m. back at the bus stop Sierre, Parc de Finges).
Arriving by public transport is ideal. There is also limited parking near the bus stop, Parc de Finges. The return journey from Leuk is by train and is at the expense of the participants.

This walk is part of the Fête de la nature and Festival der Natur and is thus free of charge.Transport costs not included.
