On the culinary route for advanced hikers, you stop in three cantons and enjoy a local course from the gastronomy partners. On your hike from summit inn to summit inn, you can expect fantastic views of up to 693 mountain peaks. Reserve your ticket & pack your hiking backpack.
The package includes:
- Return trip on the Brienzer Rothorn cable car
- Return trip on the Eisee chairlift
- Starter with a glass of wine at the Brienzer Rothorn summit restaurant, Canton Lucerne
- Main course at the Berghaus Eisee, Canton Obwalden

Online reservation
Advance reservation is required for both individual guests and groups. Here you can find the availability of the Rothorn culinary route and directly book the desired number of tickets. Important: Cancellations are possible from Tuesday to Friday up to 24 hours in advance. For appointments on Saturday to Monday, cancellations must be made by Friday at the latest, 12:00 noon.

Good footwear, a rain jacket & enough drinking water for the way belong to every hike.

Safety advices
The hike requires surefootedness (difficulty level T3). Proper footwear and the necessary fitness are prerequisites.
Please observe the following behaviour tips:
- Only photograph and observe animals from a safe distance
- Avoid noise, smoke, and other disturbing smells
- Never leave rubbish in nature; besides damaging the environment, waste can become a death trap for animals
- Do not leave the marked paths
- The signage must be respected

11:20 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. | 1-hour walk to Eisee
Option 2 (chairlift)
11:20 a.m. – 11:35 a.m. | Walk through the tunnel to the Eisee chairlift
11:35 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. | Ride on the chairlift to Eisee
→ The Eisee chairlift is out of service from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
11:45 a.m. / 12:20 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Main course at Berghaus Eisee Canton OW
