Das Berggasthaus ist weitherum bekannt für seine feine, lokale und preiswerten Menüs, aber auch für deren Spezialitäten wie „Heisse Stei“-Grilladen oder Fondue Chinoise-Buffets und im Sommer. Ein Highlight verspricht jeweils sonntags das beliebte „Älplerzmorge".
Die Terrasse ist Ausgangs- und oft auch Endpunkt im Winter wie uach Sommer. Im Sommer führen zahlreiche Wanderwege rund um die Marbachegg, rasante Cart-Fahrten werden hier gestartet oder Grasski gefahren. Im Winter liegt hier ein kleines aber abewechslungsreiches Skigebiet, inkl. Winterwanderwegen und Schneeschuhtouren.
