Regionaler Naturpark Schaffhausen - He has been an enthusiastic excursion leader since 2018 and offers half-day and full-day excursions on historical, archaeological and cultural-historical topics.

Historical bean ore mining on the Südranden

Half-day hike from Guntmadingen up to the bean ore mines and over to the Hemming: learn exciting facts about the formation and mining of the ore beans and how they were removed. The hike continues downhill along the bean ore trail back to Guntmadingen. The smelting process and forging are clearly explained and demonstrated in the hammer mill.

Mysterious Südranden

All-day hike from Neuhausen to Wilchingen: Get to know the settlement and farming as well as transport in earlier times. Old boundary and milestones, former clay and polished ore pits and abandoned historical settlements bear witness to the rich life of the past.

Thayng field walk

On this half-day hike, you will learn about the history of the Südflur with its Toteis lakes, a former hermitage and the most beautiful boundary stone in the municipality. You then continue to the former Antonius Chapel and the question arises as to whether the nearby "Gwaggäbuck" was actually the site of an ancient Germanic thing site.

Randen high trail

Aim high! All-day hike from Schaffhausen via the "Rändli", the "Chlosterfeld" to the "Kreuzweg" to the highest point at Talisbänkli: experience an old Randen path and learn exciting facts about old settlements and late medieval Letzinen. On the way down to Beggingen, you will learn about the tragic life story of the "Begginger Schudel".
