On the second day, the trail takes you through the Diemigtal Nature Park, along streams, through flowering meadows and sheltered forests. Along the way you can admire the beautifully decorated Simmental houses: they bear witness to a bygone era and have many stories to tell. Old Simmental farm houses
The farmhouses of «Sälbeze» and «Feld» are probably the most beautiful farmhouses in Diemtigtal. They are an impressive embodiment of the living farming culture. The best way to discover the old farmhouses is the "Diemtigtaler Hauswege» theme trail.
