Naturpark Diemtigtal - The Alptrail bike educational trail is the first of its kind in Switzerland and is the easiest route in the HOT-TRAIL Bikepark Wiriehorn. Here you learn to ride an easy off-road route with your bike.
On the Alptrail you learn the most important basic skills on the mountain bike by means of practical excercises and deepen them. In this way, the trail is comparable to a vitaparcours: You first read the information on the respective boards and then do the exercise yourself. True to the motto: practice makes perfect!
In between, there are always great views of the Diemtigtal.
The chairlift takes you and your bike comfortably up the mountain. Nothing stands in the way of a downhill afternoon with lots of descents. At the end of the trail – directly at the valley station of the Wiriehorn cable car – there are showers, a washing facility for your bike and a barbecue area for cosy hours afterwards. By the way, you can camp in the large car park of the Wiriehorn cable cars (for a fee).
Down at the valley station there are two pump tracks and three easy routes for children and beginners.
