Landschaftspark Binntal -

Covered with snow
The highlights of the Binner Alpe in one day: alpine pastures, the lonely and mineral-rich valley of the Turbewasser, the high moor on the Blatt and the idyllically situated Halsesee.

The Bus alpin takes you from Fäld to Brunnebiel, on the Binner Alpe. There you will find the alpine dairy. In summer there is a small alpine restaurant where you can buy cheese, Ziger and sometimes butter.

Towards Ofenhorn you walk on the alpine road to Freichi and further towards Schinerewyssi, before you turn right onto the hiking trail to Turbenalp.

You cross the Turbewasser in its lonely valley and climb up to the Mittlenberghütte, the highest point of the hike. At the hut you can enjoy a cool drink before descending to the high moor on the Blatt. Follow first the signs towards Freichi.

The short counter ascent to the lake Halsesee is extremely worthwhile. Here you can let your soul dangle. Afterwards you descend easily in about 1.5 hours south of the river Binna to Fäld.
