Landschaftspark Binntal -
From Fäld, head towards the Lengenbach mine. At Figgerscha, stay on the hiking trail (not towards the Lengenbach mine). After the Chiestafel bridge, a bright white dolomite zone suddenly appears. Through Oxefeld, you reach the Binntal hut after about 3 hours. The Albrun Pass is now not far. After about 30 minutes and a few switchbacks, the view opens up towards Devero. After another good hour, the lakes also become visible. Once in the valley, you pass Crampiolo (1777 m above sea level), one of the best-preserved hamlets on the edge of the Alpe Veglia – Alpe Devero Nature Park.
We start in Crampiolo and head west to the first houses in the Vallaro valley. There, we turn right through the larch forest onto the main path. The ascent to the Geisspfad now begins. The path becomes narrower and turns into a mountain trail. Soon, we reach the huts of Alpe Campello. The path becomes steeper until the Piana della Rossa. We continue until we reach an iron ladder. Through a rocky ledge, we reach the Bocca della Rossa. Then we continue to climb to the summit of the pass. In front of us stretches the lake landscape of Geisspfad. We choose the descent, often over snow, down to the shore of Lake Geisspfad. We follow the signs towards Manibode and Mässersee. From Manibode, we walk towards Fäld, back to Lengenbach.
