Naturpark Beverin - The viaCapricorn leads across the area of the Safien-Rheinwald ibex colony. On the 2nd you walk through Safiental, which is characterised by the Walser culture. You will find barns burned brown by the sun, solitary located hamlets and tranquility.
On the way a visit to the Spensa, a self-service shop with domestic products in Safien Platz, is worthwhile. In Camana there is a local history museum, which is open every 2ndSunday in summer. At the Turahus there is the Turra exhibition barn, which provides information about the Safier barns (characterised by the Walser culture).

Our mountain inn lies in the Beverin Nature Park above Thusis, in the holiday corner of Switzerland. Valleys to the north and south of the Alps. Rivers that flow in all directions.
The spensa - a Safier word for a pantry from the times before refrigerators - is always well-filled and opened every day for self-service!
The Safier barns are a landmark of the cultural landscape, and are contemporary witnesses of traditional agriculture and the product of several old handicrafts.
