Land management in the Binn Alps is organised on a cooperative basis and brings together farmers from Binn and the surrounding area. The Binn Alps extend over an extensive, open valley, the drainage area of the young river Binna, the right bank of which merges into the Albrun pass region. The highly sought-after dairy products, in particular the high-quality Alpine cheese, are produced in the central Alpine cheese dairy at Freichi during the summer grazing period.
The "Alpkäse Binntal" (Binntal Alpine cheese) can be ordered in our e-shop or directly from the producers. In addition, the cheese can be obtained directly from the alpine dairy in Grengiols and outside opening hours from the cheese vending machine with raclette equipment.
