Theme trailHiking trail
Time required: 54 minutesLength: 3.03 km

Jurapark Aargau - From the wine-growing village of Schinznach-Dorf, the vineyard educational trail leads along the sunny slopes of the Schenkenberg valley with its well-kept vineyards. Twelve information panels convey the craft of winemakers and winegrowers in an entertaining way.

Discover what lies behind your glass of wine: the steps necessary to produce a high-quality wine and what makes the profession of winemaker so special. The three-kilometer educational trail starts at the community center and leads to twelve information panels that provide exciting and instructive insights into viticulture. The path is well signposted from the village and can be explored independently. The Association of Vineyard and Wine Friends Schinznach is committed to promoting viticulture and initiated the vineyard educational trail.

A visit to the village museum is then worthwhile, where numerous historical tools from viticulture are exhibited. Or unwind at the end of the day by enjoying local wine and other specialties from the Jurapark Aargau in one of the restaurants. Step by step, this trail shows you how fascinatingly wine is made from grapes.
