La Garenne
Parc naturel régional Jura vaudois - La Garenne animal park in Le Vaud introduces the public to some fifty species of Swiss wildlife. The park rescues and cares for wild animals in difficulty and helps with the reintroduction of certain endangered species.
Since 1965, La Garenne has been taking care of wild animals in difficulty, helping to breed rare species, presenting Swiss wildlife, and raising children's awareness of nature. The work is still just as important today, guided by an ethical, responsible vision: protecting the nature that surrounds us and conserving our natural heritage for future generations. The 3-hectare grounds offer opportunities for unique moments of wildlife observation, together with fun and educational activities.
