Kienberg hiking trails - Route 1
Jurapark Aargau - Route 1 of the Kienberg hiking trails is a leisurely circular route starting from Saalhöhe with great views from the Burgflue.
The Kienberg+ Association has developed and consistently signposted 5 hiking routes around Kienberg. There is a suitable route for every type of hiker: whether A-B or circular, with wonderful views or along historically significant ruins.
Route 1 leads from Saalhöhe over the gentle Jura heights to the Burgflue viewpoint. Visitors can expect a splendid view as far as the Black Forest. Afterwards, the circular route returns to the starting point Saalhöhe. 5 different fire pits along the path invite you to relax comfortably.

Parking: At the Waldhaus Kienberg, on Saalhöhe. For an authentic nature park experience, we recommend arriving by public transport.
