4 La Route Verte - 4th stage
Parc du Doubs - In the wooded pastures of the Doubs Nature Park, encounter "franches-montagnes" horses grazing in semi-liberty and meet the breeders of this unique Swiss horse.
During this stage, discover the typical landscapes of the Jura and the Doubs Nature Park: relaxing areas close to water with the Doubs river and the Gruère lake and above all the "Franches Montagnes" horses grazing in semi-liberty in wooded pastures. You will go through the town of Saignelégier, renowned for its Horse Fair. Take time to visit a horse farm and to get to know a breeder who will share his passion for these magnificent animals. The stage finishes at the Assesseur Inn, a former farm tastefully renovated on Mont-Soleil, the perfect spot for a break in the heart of the Chasseral Nature Park.
