Circular walk Flüealp
Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - This wonderful circular hike lasts about 4:30 and leads to the alpine pastures around Leukerbad. The paths are well developed so that the hike is suitable for a wide public.
From the village square we go through the woods to below Alpe Folljeret. Continue via Majingalp to Flüealp, both of which are used by alpine dairymen in summer. As long as the alpine pasture is open, you should not pass by without having a taste. You will not find any better alpine cheese anywhere - try it!
Then we continue to the Flüekapelle and on the other Dalaufer over the Clabinualp and Buljes back to Leukerbad.
The hike can be combined with a ride on the alpine taxi and a cheese show on Alpe Majing. Every Tuesday at 07:00 the alpine taxi takes you from Rathausplatz to the Alp, where you can enjoy a hearty alpine breakfast for CHF 30.00. Afterwards you can continue the circular hike from here. Registration at the alpine taxi should be made by 19:00 the evening before.
