Parc naturel régional Jura vaudois - The Col du Marchairuz toboggan run in the heart of the Parc Jura Vaudois is the longest run in the Vallée de Joux, taking you on a thrilling ride through forest and clearings, with bends, gentle slopes and steeper drops.
From the top of the Col, the Marchairuz toboggan run joins the start of the cross-country skiing trails of the Vallée de Joux Nordic Centre, following the old road that led up to the Col, through forests and clearings.
The start is easily accessible by car or on foot from the bottom of the run and is groomed and maintained by the Vallée de Joux Nordic Centre. At the bottom, there’s a large groomed area of snow where little ones can experience the joys of winter and snow sports. The Hôtel-restaurant du Marchairuz, at the top of the Col, is a great place to eat, warm up or relax in a cosy, authentic setting.
