Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - The EGGUWEG will lead you to 17 interesting places (EGGU = corner, nook). Between the middle of May up to the end of October all are invited to follow the path and to learn facts about herbs and culture.
During the remaining season, the EGGUWEG can be made through the village from EGGU 7 to 16.
The trail is well marked and can be made in both directions. Good shoes are recommended. Unfortunately, the trail is not suitable for people with disabilities. You will need at least two hours for the entire trail, but better half a day - then you can stop by for a bite at one of the many restaurants.
You will get to know medicinal herbs, edible mountain herbs and the mountain flora on the EGGUWEG. At several stages, you will learn what the herbs are used for. If your eyes and ears are open, you will encounter colourful butterflies, nimble lizards and other creatures.
At the ten corners in the village centre you will get information about the unique collection of timber houses. On two further corners you will learn about the construction of dry stone walls and the special paving (Bikkini).
There are guided tours through the EGGUWEG on Wednesday afternoons. They take three hours and can be booked at the municipality of Albinen; other weekdays on request.

Points of interest in Albinen include numerous mountain farm houses and barns. On the other hand, the village church is built in a modern style, after the old church was destroyed in an earthquake. Village centre of national importance (ISOS).
Pfäristadel
The barn is no longer used for threshing. Nevertheless, it still remains as a workroom. The Society for the culture and promotion of old Albinen AA+ offers the educational program “model barn construction” here.
The name reflects the concept of the house. The rose symbolises something beautiful and artistic. The designation “Trukelti” (wooden box) symbolises artisan skills.
