Jurapark Aargau - At Gasthof Bären you can enjoy homemade specialities, all freshly prepared with regional products, in a cosy, family atmosphere.
Siblings Thomas Wernli, Sonja Keller (Wernli) and Esther Baumann (Wernli) run the family business together with their father Ernst Wernli and the team - now in its third generation. They live by their motto "Eating means enjoying with a happy heart", because at Gasthof Bären guests can enjoy home-made specialities in a cosy, informal atmosphere, all freshly prepared with regional products. Much of the food even comes straight from the Wernlis' garden. In summer, the beautiful outdoor garden restaurant is a great place to relax, while the modern bowling alley is available indoors. The restaurant has several rooms that are ideal for larger groups.
As the starting point for a wonderful hiking and biking area, the Bären is ideally located for a refreshment stop before or after adventures in the beautiful countryside.
The specialities of the house are Metzgete, asparagus and wild garlic, Geissbergsteak, Spätzli and Rösti.
At the Gasthof Bären you can not only eat well, but also spend a cosy night. Simply furnished single and double rooms as well as a furnished studio are available. All rooms are equipped with shower, WC, TV and WLAN.
