Built heritage in the Regional Nature Park Schaffhausen

A project to immerse oneself in the knowledge related to the history of the Park’s built sites and the skills that made them up and that are still being perpetuated today.

Regional Park Schaffhausen

The Regional Park Schaffhausen has made an inventory of the historical and traditional built heritage in its member communities. One document per village describes the history of the most representative buildings, their role, their impact on people's lives in the past and today, but also the skills passed down through the generations used for their construction and which give a particular identity to the built sites of the region. These free documents are intended for guides, schools, tourist offices, etc. and fill a gap in the knowledge of heritage related to the culture of buildings in the Park.
