Parc naturel régional Jura vaudois - A dozen headstones along the trail provide information about the Jura vaudois regional nature Park’s wealth of natural heritage and the history of its forestry and pastoral farming.

Weighed down with mail and provisions, the messenger Siméon Meylan used to rest beneath a tall silver fir tree before climbing up to the col du Marchairuz. The fir tree is long gone – but the story lives on, thanks to a statue sculpted in its place by Paul Monney.
