Bärgmandli-Tritt in Zyberliland Romoos

Theme trail
Time required: 1 hour 42 minutesLength: 5.60 km

UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch -

Open
The red little feet on the Bärgmandli-Tritt lead through the mysterious play worlds in Zyberliland Romoos - an adventure for young and old.

In search of the mysterious Bärgmandli, parents and children soon discover the first traces that mark the way on the Bärgmandli-Tritt hiking trail. The Bärgmandli repeatedly make themselves noticed with small red feet and lead curious children through the most beautiful nature to the play worlds. The children conquer the Talherrenburg, crawl through willow tunnels, or divert the Mühlibach in various ways. The 30-meter-long ball track, called Zyberlibahn, also provides lots of fun. In the Eschenhaus tree labyrinth, children search for the right path.

Further information about the Zyberliland nature play park can be found here.

According to „Zyberli-Gschicht“, the residents once lived here under the rule of the Talherren and hid their gold until the greed of the Talherren destroyed the idyll. The fairy tale is present in all play worlds, for example on the „Talherrenburg“ – a huge climbing castle. From here the Talherren managed the land, supervised the Zyberli harvest, traded with charcoal, and guarded the Napfgold. Today, it is a magnificent climbing and adventure facility for children with a wooden maze of bridges – sometimes shaky, sometimes firm –, towers, corridors, ladders, ropes, posts, stairs, and slides. Or in the „Nüü̈telimine“, the Bärgmandli used to wash golden Nüü̈teli from the riverbed gravel. They directed water over wooden troughs onto the driving wheels of the washing facility. Even today, a few golden Nüü̈teli can occasionally be found among the pebbles. Directly from the „Mülibach“ stream, children can divert the water in various ways using wooden troughs and operate water wheels. One can spend several hours here, but four more play worlds - the Eschenhaus, the willow tunnel, the Zyberlibahn, as well as the Waldarena - are waiting to be discovered.

Opening hours
The nature play park is open daily with no time restrictions.

Playgrounds on the Zyberliland Romoos theme route

  • The Haselschule is a real classroom, but built outdoors and made of natural materials.
  • Right next to it, the Waldarena regularly hosts the popular game KUBB.
  • In the Nüü̈telimine, the Bärgmandli wash golden Nüü̈teli and during the day, small and big people enjoy this water play world.
  • In the Bärgmandlidorf, a labyrinth of willow tunnels, you can especially enjoy playing hide and seek.
  • On the Zyberlibahn, the freshly harvested Zyberli were once sent down to the valley by the Bärgmandli; today, balls can be rolled down the 30-meter-long track.
  • At the Talherrenburg, adventurous boys and girls can climb and balance to their heart's content before roasting a sausage at one of the barbecue spots.
  • In the Eschenhaus, a tree labyrinth, the Bärgmandli once met for their assemblies and celebrations.

All play worlds/playgrounds on the theme route are reachable on foot from the village of Romoos; the Talherrenburg is about 15 minutes away near the village, and the furthest „Bärgmandlidorf“ can be reached in 1 ¾ hours.
