Wiriehorn ski area
Naturpark Diemtigtal - The Wiriehorn winter sports area is the largest in the Diemtigtal. It can be reached in 15 minutes from the Wimmis end of the motorway.
The Wiriehorn winter sports area is within easy reach and surprises with its great variety. Group houses and a holiday village with holiday flats are located directly on the piste and invite you to enjoy winter sports every day.
The medium difficulty pistes on the north slope of the Wiriehorn are partly covered with technical snow. The terrain is suitable both for connoisseurs on perfectly groomed downhill pistes and for snow freaks who prefer freeride pistes in steep terrain.
For non-skiers, the 6.5 km long winter hiking trail or the 5 km winding toboggan run from the Berghaus Wiriehorn mountain station are highly recommended.
