The Schwyberg Trail has a really relaxing effect. There used to be a lot of ski tourism here, but today it is above all quiet and surrounded by nature. When you reach the Schwyberg, you are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Alps all the way to the Jura.
The Schwyberg tour starts at the Schwarzsee-Gypsera bus stop. From there, the tour runs over gentle slopes up to the Schlossisbödeli and on to the ridge of the Schwyberg. The effort of the ascent of around 600 metres in altitude is rewarded with a 360-degree panorama. From the Bernese, Vaud and Fribourg Alps, the view sweeps across the Mittelland to the distant Three Lakes region and the Jura massif.
