The information panel for the start of the trail is located at the Mountain Hotel Chäserstatt. You traverse wonderful snowy slopes and make your way through the gnarled larch forests until you reach the Erner Galen at 2,240 m. The trail offers constantly changing scenery and you pass the Alpine foothills of Heixunalp and Lärch before you reach Schäre.
