Landschaftspark Binntal - The botanist Eduard Thommen described them as an independent species. "Tulipa grengiolensis" has been considered since then as a unique species of tulip that only grows in Switzerland. It flowers only in the village of Grengiols and its surroundings.
The hiking trail starts in the minerals village of Binn and continues along the historical path through the wild romantic Twingischlucht gorge to the «auf dem Blatt» chapel. It then goes further past the picturesque hamlet of Hockmatta to Bächerhisch
On a few fields in Grengiols there is a wild tulip species, which does not grow anywhere else. Every year during the second half of May the village attracts many visitors who come to admire this special tulip.
A long but unique hike that leads from Binn over the Saflisch Pass to Rosswald.
A varied circular walk that takes you past a traditional irrigation channel (Suone) to Zenhäusern, Binnelti, Bister, and back to Grengiols. The hike lasts about 3 hours.
