Naturpark Diemtigtal - Set off on the new Grimmimutz adventure and learn to yodel along the way under the guidance of Miss Helvetia.
The path takes you from the upper station of the Grimmialp cable cars back to the valley. With the app, you learn to sing a yodeling song, the GrimmiJutz, along the way. A perfect family day for children from six years old!
What can you expect from the interactive app? Bring color back to the valley with your "Jutz" and free it from the curse of the old witch. Follow the tracks of the first interactive Grimmimutz fairy tale with your phone. Solve puzzles and learn to yodel from Miss Helvetia. The new app offering playfully combines the beautiful mountain landscape with the fairy tale world of Grimmimutz.
Nine stations challenge your skill in solving puzzles, quick swiping with your fingers, and of course yodeling. Discover the forest man in the picturesque forest panorama, catch the witch on her wild ride, or recognize the magical mountain herbs and animal world surrounding you.
At the last station, the highlight awaits you: the GrimmiJutz lounge. Are you ready to loudly sing the GrimmiJutz together?

Opening hours
The path is open from the end of May to the end of October on weekends. During the summer and autumn holidays, from Wednesday to Sunday. The chairlift comfortably takes you to the start. It runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please check the operating times of the Grimmialp cable cars in advance at grimmialp.ch. In case of heavy rain, wind, and thunderstorms, the lift must be shut down for safety reasons. This can also happen at short notice.
Kiosk at the upper station of the Grimmialp cable cars: Drinks and small snacks such as cheese and dried sausage are available.
InfoPoint at the end of the trail: open in good weather on weekends. Here you can get information as well as our Grimmimutz articles, ice cream, snacks, drinks, and regional products.

Costs
The "Diemtigtal" app itself can be downloaded for free. To keep the path attractive and cover maintenance costs, we rely on your donations. This is possible at the GrimmiJutz lounge (station 9) or via the app.
Costs for using the chairlift: Find out on the website grimmialp.ch or benefit from the offer below with a 20% discounted chairlift ride when arriving/departing by public transport. The ascent is free with the Nature Park Card and the Magic Pass.
Cheaper to the GrimmiJutz adventure by public transport
If you arrive by train and post bus, you will receive a 20% discount on the chairlift ride at Grimmialp cable cars. Present your public transport ticket at Grimmialpbergbahnen valley station, quote the code word «Poschi 2026» and off you go!

Smartphone with the downloaded "Diemtigtal" app, possibly an additional power bank, sturdy footwear (preferably hiking boots), weather-appropriate clothing (sun/rain protection), provisions, and enough drinks for the trip
Safety advices
The GrimmiJutz adventure path leads over a six-kilometer mountain trail. We recommend wearing hiking boots with a good sole. The path is not suitable for strollers.
Signalization
Wooden signposts mark the six-kilometer mountain hiking route from the upper station of the Grimmialp cable cars past nine stations back to the valley station. The pure walking time is approximately two hours (ascent 126 m / descent 611 m).Depending on how long you like to yodel, your excursion will last several hours.
The mountain path is suitable for children from six years old (no strollers).
