Jurapark Aargau - "Handlung Windisch" is the village shop in Asp. This Jurapark partner business, run by Rolf and Theres Windisch, opened in 2005 in a converted barn right in the village center.
Anyone driving over the Staffelegg pass without stopping here is missing out—the Asperhandlung offers a wide range of regional and sustainably produced products. Yet the commitment to ecology goes beyond production methods: the premises themselves are heated by the wood-fired oven.
Certified products: Homemade Jurapark bread, flours from Altbachmühle Wittnau, teas and herbs from Maja's Chrüterstübli (Herznach), Bründler vinegars (Wittnau), Chalmberger wines (Oberflachs), Jurapark cheese, and meat and sausage products from the Gasser butcher shop.
Also available: House-made cookies and bread, meat, tea, seasonal vegetables, pasta, eggs, jams, wines, beers, spirits, and goods from around the world.
