UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch - The Hotel Kurhaus Heiligkreuz is situated in a very peaceful location and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding foothills of the Alps.
On the ground floor are the rustic dining room (60 people), the traditional Entlebuch-style Stübli (30 people) and the Pilgerstube (160 people). When the weather is fine, the sun terrace is a popular spot. The Kurhaus is also ideal for conferences and seminars. These can be complemented by a range of outdoor activities (the Seelensteg footbridge, snowshoeing, hiking trails, etc.).
Today’s ‘Hotel Kurhaus Heiligkreuz’ boasts a cosy and inviting interior and 21 comfortable double rooms. It offers the very best in comfort for summer and winter holidaymakers, as well as for pilgrims seeking the tranquillity of the pilgrimage site and the natural surroundings to refresh their spirits. In addition to the children’s playground, there is also a playroom for our younger guests.
The rooms are equipped with a bath or shower, a toilet and a TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
On the fairy tale trail, you roam through the forest and listen to the adventures of Wurzilla, a little root child. Set out to find the dragon, which stands as a symbol of the healing powers strongly felt in nature.
