Château Mercier
Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - The Château Mercier is an event centre which can accommodate up to 80 persons for seminars, receptions, lectures etc. and is set in the middle of a 4 ha public park.
Château Pradegg, known today as Château Mercier, was built between April 1906 and the end of 1908 above the town of Sierre. It bears the name of a famous Vaudois tanning family from Lausanne. The construction of this family château was commissioned by Jean-Jacques and Marie Mercier de Molin to the architect Chabloz. He drafted plans for the château in Aosta-Valley style and Marie Mercier herself drew the plan of the surrounding park, which was intended to show off the building to its best advantage. The château has rooms that are completely equipped technically, a refreshment service and accommodation (25 rooms with shower/WC, 44 beds), a private parking area and should be able to fulfil every wish.
