Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - Leukerbad is the largest thermal spa and wellness resort in the Alps and has the most attractive thermal baths in Switzerland. Leukerbad is worth a visit all year round, both in summer and winter and offers a wide variety of tourist attractions.
For a number of years, it is once again possible to cross the Gemmi pass from the top and go as far as Sunnbüel in winter. The walk leads from the Gemmi over the Dauben Lake to Kandersteg.
The trail descends slightly, is well cared for and marked.
Over the Torrent alp towards Folljeret and Leukerbad through alpine meadows and peaceful woods.
You reach Leukerbad on historical mule tracks and an old railway route past the St. Barbara wayside chapel and over a 16th century bridge. At your destination, a visit to one of the thermal baths is highly relaxing.
