Marcel Suter was a post office manager. Today, he is an enthusiastic vintage post office car driver, hunter, catering entrepreneur and landlord. In 2010, he reopened the historic Gasthof Löwen in Herznach and has been creating home-style delicacies with ingredients from the region ever since. He has also been a member of the Genuss-Strasse since 2015.
Spending the night at Gasthof Löwen is a special experience. Eight lovingly furnished themed rooms all have their own unique atmosphere. Whether a post office room with letterboxes as bedside tables, a mine room with a stollen motif or a romantic apple blossom room for lovers: there is something for everyone here. The guest rooms all have a TV, internet connection, hairdryer and a spacious bathroom.
