UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch - Situated in the heart of the Napf landscape, at an altitude of around 1,230 metres above sea level on the outskirts of the municipality of Romoos, the Änzi Animal Sanctuary offers animals a loving home where they can live in a apropriete manner.
Permaculture and the cultivation of edible mushrooms promote biodiversity and strengthen natural cycles. As a place of learning and discovery, the sanctuary enables visitors to have direct encounters with animals and plants. A place where people, animals and nature are connected through mindfulness and respect.
