Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - Experience interactively the world of timber and forestry handcraft.
Discover the diversity of sawmills and mills through the traces of history.
Immerse yourself in old Valais handcraft traditions.
In former times in Oberems, timber was processed directly on site in the sawmill. However, the sawmill has not been used regularly for several years. The renovation work of “Miis Dorf (my village)” has saved the sawmill and mill from falling into disrepair. Since 2018 in partnership with Pfyn-Finges Nature Park, a new utilisation concept was implemented and the facilities were renovated.
Now it is open for you - in an interactive and narrative way, you can learn more about timber and forestry handcraft and immerse yourself in the history of our ancestors.

Opening times from September 2019: daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Groups are welcome to register for a guided tour with the municipality of Oberems by calling +41 (0)27 932 15 33. There is a large car park at the Sagu & Milli.Arrival by public transport
