Naturpark Diemtigtal - The Alptrail educational trail is the first of its kind in Switzerland and is the easiest route in the HOT-TRAIL Bikepark Wiriehorn. Here you learn to ride a simple route in the terrain with your bike.
On the bike trail educational path "Alptrail" you learn the most important basics of mountain biking through practical exercises and deepen them. Thus, the trail is comparable to a Vita parcours: first you read the information on the respective boards and then carry out the exercise yourself. As the motto says: practice makes perfect!
Along the way, there are always great views of the Diemtigtal.
With the chairlift, you and your bike can comfortably ascend the mountain. Nothing stands in the way of an afternoon of downhill rides. At the end of the trail – directly at the Wiriehorn valley station – showers, a washing station for your bike, and a barbecue area for cozy hours afterward are available. By the way, camping is allowed (for a fee) on the large parking lot of the Wiriehorn cable cars.
At the valley station at the bottom, there is a pump track and easy routes for children and beginners.
Information about operating times and prices is available directly on site at the Wiriehorn cable cars.

The HOT-TRAIL Bike Shop at the valley station rents the appropriate equipment (or you can bring your own). We recommend a > prior reservation.
In the HOT-TRAIL Bike Park Wiriehorn there is the right route for every skill level: ride safely and according to your ability. We recommend protective gear and helmet.
At the mountain station of the Wiriehorn cable cars, you ride past the mountain hotel on the left and follow the path over alpine pastures towards Röschtenschwend. You follow the signposting "Alptrail" down into the valley.
