Wiggen-Camping trail

Discover a total of 50 kilometers of trails in classical and skating style on the Marbach-Escholzmatt-Bumbach trail network and enjoy the incomparable view. The Wiggen-Camping trail runs parallel to the Ilfis from Wiggen to the Sternen campsite in Marbach. Few sections run through forest. Several post bus stops are located near the trail, so the route can also be shortened.

Afterwards, you have several options: from the campsite to Marbach as well as from Wiggen to Escholzmatt or Längmatten.

Here you can get trail passes, season & weekly tickets and trail tickets:

• ESCHOLZMATT: tourism office, Gasthaus Krone (Sundays only)
• WIGGEN: Egghus snack bar
• MARBACH: tourism office, valley station of the sports lifts, Lötscher bakery
• SCHANGNAU: tourism office (at the municipal administration)
• BUMBACH: Gasthof Alpenrose, Gasthof Rosegg, Hotel Kemmeriboden-Bad, valley station ski lifts Bumbach

Prices

• Swiss cross-country ski pass (card format or digital) CHF 160.00
• Season ticket Escholzmatt-Marbach-Bumbach CHF 80.00
• Day ticket Escholzmatt-Marbach-Bumbach CHF 10.00
• Children and youths under 16 years ski for free

With all passes and tickets for the cross-country ski trail, you travel free during the winter season on the post bus route Escholzmatt-Kemmeriboden! There are 15 post bus stops along the trail.
