Snowshoe trail Springenboden

Snowshoe route
Time required: 3 hoursLength: 5.61 km

Naturpark Diemtigtal - Marked snowshoe route on the sunny terrace of the Diemtigtal. The circular hike takes you through snowy alpine areas and mountain forests and offers an impressive view.

The starting point of the five-kilometer snowshoe route is the Gsässweid parking lot (Springenboden) on the sunny terrace high up in the Diemtigtal Nature Park. The path is marked - but you make the track yourself with your snowshoes. The ascent to Ottenschwand and Neuenstift is rewarded with an impressive panorama of the rear Diemtigtal and Simmental. From the highest point, the descent leads you over snow-covered alpine meadows past solitary alpine huts and distinctive mountain maples. Do you also discover a huge snow sculpture there?
