Naturpark Beverin - 300m deep: Viamala, the most awe-inspiring Rhaetian gorge. 800-year-old mythical creatures hover on the ceiling of Zillis Church - the most famous wooden ceiling in the Western world. Old wooden dwellings tiled with heavy gneiss slabs in Splügen.
The nature park begins just after the Viamala, the most notorious gorge in the Grisons. It stretches form the Roman Schons (in German Schams) over Piz Beverin to Safiental with its Walser settlements. Shortly after Andeer we leave the nature park.
