Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - We cultivate about four hectares of vines in various vineyards from Vispertal to Varen and produce not only traditional Valais varieties but also rare and unique wines.

SIMPLY SUSTAINABLE - THANKS TO PIWI GRAPES
As winegrowers, we work in and with nature all year round. Sustainability in dealing with flora and fauna is therefore our top priority. Our plots are cultivated according to the Integrated Production (IP) guidelines and Vitival regulations. All of our vineyards are naturally green and we do not use herbicides. We treat our traditional vines only with organic products. In addition, we are the driving force in Valais when it comes to near-natural viticulture with fungus-resistant grape varieties. These relatively unknown grape varieties enable us to produce grapes ecologically without using any pesticides!
As Piwi pioneers from the very beginning, we benefit from more than thirty years of experience with these forward-looking varieties and offer our customers a proud range of twelve different wines from unsprayed cultivation.
Since September 2019, the brothers Diego and Roman are the second generation to the company. They are actively supported by Nina Baumann-Salzmann and Jenny Zuber. Sonja Geoffray-Baumann is available to advise on oenological questions. Most of our label designs also come from her hand.
Hans-Peter & Irene Baumann have - after twenty years of intensive development - started their well-deserved retirement, but are still indispensable for the family business.
