Wildnispark Zürich Sihlwald - A pleasant e-bike circuit from Langnau-Gattikon to the wildlife park and through the Sihlwald nature forest to Sihlbrugg. Then along the River Sihl back to the starting point.
The e-bike tour starts at Langnau-Gattikon railway station. Ride along the Sihl to Höfli, then continue through the residential areas to Adliswil. There, cross Albisstrasse and ride via Waldi to the main entrance of the Wildnispark Zurich Langenberg. Take a short break to enjoy the local wildlife in their natural habitats, with moose and bison welcoming you right after the entrance. Continue through Langnau am Albis towards Sihlwald. After Tobel, take Sihlwaldstrasse through the wild Sihlwald forest to Sihlbrugg. Deadwood, mushrooms and giant trees characterise this unspoilt beech forest in the core zone. In Sihlbrugg, cross the Sihl and follow the Sihltal cycle path to Sihlwald and the visitor centre. Various fire pits on the grounds of the visitor centre in Sihlwald are ideal for a final break. Then continue along the Sihl back to the starting point at Langnau-Gattikon railway station.

The Rooseveltplatz is named after Eleanor Roosevelt, wife of the American President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who in 1948 admired the mighty 200 year-old trees on this location during a visit to Sihlwald.
Branch nests, suspension bridges, a hollow silver fir trunk, a snake made of wood - these are the centrepieces of the wilderness playground at the visitor centre in Sihlwald. The exciting play wilderness offers challenges for young and old.

The cleaned-up ponds along the River Sihl between Langnau am Albis and Sihlwald offer a home for the Glögglifrosch (midwife toad).
