Jurapark Aargau - In the Frick Dinosaur museum in addition to a complete plateosaurus skeleton there is also a fossil predator dinosaur to be seen. An informative dinosaur nature trail takes you to the excavation area where you can excavate for fossils yourself.
Getting there: A 5-minute walk from Frick railway station to the museum.
Hiking tip: The third stage of the Fricktaler Höhenweg trail takes 3 hours and 10 minutes from Wegenstetten to Frick. A visit to the Dinosaur Museum rounds off the day’s hike.
Eating out: There are numerous restaurants in the village.
Shopping: Jurapark bakeries Maier and Kunz, Jurapark producer ArboVitis Bio-Hochstamm and many other shopping options in Frick.
Bookable activities: A guided tour for your own group can be booked at the Dinosaur Museum (also available outside regular opening hours on request); it lasts around 1 hour and costs CHF 100 plus the admission fee.

Car parks: In the school car park directly in front of the museum. For an authentic nature park experience, we recommend travelling by public transport.
